Grayguns HK USP, HK45 Short Reset System
Our Short Reset System for the HK USP and HK45 replicates the short reset conversion available in our in-house custom action work. Cut from bar stock steel, these kits provide an exacting fit for easy install. The kit shortens the reset travel distance by about one-third, reduces trigger over-travel and reduces pull weight while maintaining all factory safety functions. This kit is specific to the HK USP and HK45 models with or without a thumb safety, including DA/SA and LEM variations. The parts provided – control catch, pin and spring – are designed to be installed together as a complete system. Kits will not fit the following variants:

Well made product, but the firing pin safety spring did not fit my USP 45 (elite).
Trying to work with grayguns to get a correct replacement now.
The difference is subtle but noticeable. Not too hard to install once you figure it out. Roll pin replaces the one in the sear, and the big piece replaces the similar piece. Spring goes in the slide replacing the fp safety spring.. if it fit (it didn't, it's too small in diameter).

The Short Reset System has been the single best upgrade to my USP. It removed all the slack from the reset and take-up in single-action mode, shortened the reset distance, and made the single-action trigger pull FAR better than the factory match trigger kit. I cannot recommend this highly enough!
It does not come with instructions, so understand in advance that the roll pin that comes in the kit is to replace the slightly-shorter roll pin in the sear (easily replaced in about 10 seconds with a hammer and roll-pin punch), and the spring is to replace the firing pin block spring in the slide (which lightens trigger pull by about 1lb.
