The firing pin gets the shooting started. So order the Glock Firing Pins that contribute to the unique firing characteristics of this pistol. When you pull the trigger, the three safety features are deactivated automatically, and the connector deflects the trigger bar down. Then the Glock firing pin is released. The firing pin safety is a solid steel pin that blocks the firing pin channel. When the trigger is pulled, the firing pin safety is moved up for the firing pin’s release. In addition to the firing pins, you can order associated parts from us, including firing pin springs, safeties, safety springs, spacer sleeves, and channel liners. Glock Firing Pin Upgrades for Enhanced Safety and Reliability
If you own or are purchasing an older Glock model, you may need one of the Glock Firing Pin Upgrades. These critical upgrades must be performed in the interest of safety and reliability. The manufacturer’s upgrade program began in 1992 and covered six parts, including the firing pin, the firing pin safety, and spring. If you’re purchasing a used Glock, the internal parts may need inspection. The upgrade covers a list of specific serial numbers.
