Anyone worrying about retention without a thumb break, don’t. The weapon isn’t coming out without a deliberate pull straight out of the holster. It takes a bit for the felt to break in, but after it does it’s very comfortable. Glock 26 is a bit chunky for ankle carry, but this holster lets me pull it off when I want to carry the Glock as a BUG. Really nice rig.

Mec-Gar magazines were the original OEM provider for Sig P229 magazines. In my opinion they are still the best. I own ~40 Mec-Gar mags for my P226 and P229-1 pistols and have found them to be the most reliable magazines for these guns. I prefer them over Checkmate mags. I have restored several Checkmate mags to full-function (after they failed to lock the slide back after last round) by installing Mec-Gar springs and followers (after just replacing the springs alone failed to resolve the problem).

Man this gun is great! A true classic. Probably the best handgun hk ever made. The grip is a bit more blocky kinda like a glock but that's how I like it. If you want something more ergonomic then get the p30. The full size usp also has the duel recoil spring. I don't know why hk stopped putting the duel recoil spring in their newer guns Probably to save cost but that was a mistake. They should start chrome lining these barrels to if beretta can do it they can and should, especially at this price point.

The H&K P2000sk is a great gun. It's easy to fire and the controls on it are easy to get to. The LEM trigger helps get the first shot on target. The service at Top Gun Supply in Chesterland is excellent. They are always helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. A great place to shop.
