Ritchie Leather is one of my favorite companies for holster and leather goods. Their level of quality for the price is exceptional. This magazine pouch is no different, however I did experience issues with the magazine for my HK P2000SK, which is chambered in 40S&W (versus 9mm) fitting the pouch. Unlike every other Ritchie Leather product that I have ever used, this one DID require a break in period (see below).

Upon receiving this pouch, I was not able to insert/withdraw a magazine from the leather due to it being very tight. This pouch was so tight that I had to resort to a few techniques to break in the leather. I wrapped my magazine with cling wrap and inserted it into this pouch overnight. I later repeated this process with the magazine being wrapped in multiple plastic sandwich bags in order to stretch out the leather. After a few days of this, the fit is still tight, but I am able to withdraw the magazine and I suspect that it will wear-in with use.

Note: I suspect that the 40S&W magazines fit tighter than 9mm magazines would, as 9mm magazines as dimensioned just slightly smaller than those for 40S&W. Considering that the P2000SK is chambered for both calibers and this magazine pouch WAS NOT caliber specific, your results may very.

Superb. A perfect fit right out of the package with no "break-in period" required. The Belt Speed Scabbard easily and comfortably conceals my HK P2000SK, which despite the "Subcompact" designation in the name is almost as big as a Glock 19. Unlike many other bulky OWB (Outside-the-waistband) holsters, I can wear this one during the summer months, under a tee shirt, and have no noticeable printing. This holster is set up for a vertical draw and has a slight five to ten degree forward cant. This holster will accommodate a standard 1.75 inch gun belt without issue.

This is an amazing addition to my H&K USP Compact 9mm. Don't tell my 9mm, but I think I'm falling hard for this .45. The Ritchie nighthawk is high quality and a great deal. As the clip is worn under the belt there is a small amount of movement but I think it aids in comfort. The small footprint of the holster is more comfortable for me than the large winged belt loop type holsters which wrap a third of my body. The clip keeps its hold on the pants during the draw and keeps the holster from coming out. The nighthawk is not reinforced which makes it very thin but the leather is still quite rigid for reholstering although slightly less so than a holster that is metal reinforced. I liked this one so much I purchased two for other firearms.

Just what I needed for my reloads of different loads. I have plenty of 1911 springs, so right up my alley. Have not tried it yet but i am sure it will serve me fine !

The P320 flat trigger was changed from the stock curved trigger on a p320sc that was also upgraded with an x-compact grip module. It took 5 to 10 minutes to install the flat trigger and most of that time was spent just cleaning the fire control module since it was out. Much easier than changing the trigger on the P365. While the flat trigger does nothing “mechanically” in reducing trigger pull, the feel of the trigger, possibly due to perceived leverage, seems lighter. That, and the
x-compact frame, makes the “former” P320sc a completely different gun that feels pleasant at the range and, in carrying, is a little bigger (15rds vs 12) but not by much. And it’s less than a minute to swap back to the SC grip module if desired. A note about top gun supply, the trigger was sent out the same day as ordered and arrived the next day. Now depending on where you live YMMV but that is still... WOW!

Bought two of these mags. They do not fully insert into my P229 Legion. They do work in my P229 Elite. I am working with Mec-Gar directly to rectify the situation. Be aware if you are buying these mags for use in a Legion.

BUT!!!

The last holster I received for the P938 had bad snaps immediately. The "Pull At The Dot" style of snap would release in ALL directions. Not only in the one direction as it is suppose to. I also had this same problem after about a year of use on the VM2 for my P365. I notified Milt Sparks and they immediately sent out new loops and snaps to replace. Easy to replace.

Milt Sparks is aware they have bad snaps and are replacing them at no charge, just contact their service department.
The VM2 for my 1911 I have had for a couple years works fine.

Again, the VM2 is the best IWB holster I have found, this is only a temporary production problem and still recommend them.
