I have purchased quite a few pistol parts. Gun parts are gun parts and if you purchase original factory parts or from a respected manufacturer you should be ok. Whatever you're purchasing you should check TopGun first. I have not dealt with a vender anywhere that makes it easier and is as quick getting your purchase to you faster than TopGun! Their customer service is truly outstanding, and I consider myself a tough customer. I always check TopGun first when I need something and I suggest to friends that they do the same when they ask. I had been using 13rd Sug mags for my 228, then found out about the 15rd flush fit MecGar mags and switched to those.
The fit and finish of the 18rd MecGar mags is excellent, and as someone with bigger hands I appreciate the mag extension that allows me to get a slightly better grip.
I can also say that the 18rd mags have changed the balance of my 228 (already famously well balanced) for the better.

Works exactly as intended and drastically reduces the trigger reset. As far as installation goes there’s a YouTube video on it and it’s pretty straight forward. Highly recommended

First, thank you for the excellent service. Your efficiency in getting the Wolff Recoil Spring-Makarov was astoundingly fast. Having previously placed an order with another vendor, waiting over 6 weeks and still having it on back order with no updates lead me to find your great company.
As for the MAKAROV recoil spring, I found the 19lb spring reduced the recoil to a noticeable degree. I would highly recommend this item, but there might be some problems with some one who has smaller hands when it comes to pulling back the slide.

I'm grateful these springs are offered to us. The full assembly is hard to find at times so just being able to thread the spring on the guide rod is still an option. And much less expensive. Thanks Top Gun Supply.
