The Standard Series is a faithful semi-auto only recreation of the original M14. Keep in mind that the Standard M1A is as well suited for a day at the range as it is for filling that special place in your military collection. All the design features that the Armed Services found essential for a battle rifle make the Standard M1A a great shooter. The windage and elevation adjustable rear sight minimizes the effort required to zero the rifle. The two-stage military trigger, detachable box magazine, op-rod and roller cam bolt call to mind the rich history of the M1A while providing functional ease of operation and legendary reliability.

Inspired by the shortened “Tanker” Garand rifles of WWII, the M1A™ Tanker combines handiness and maneuverability with full-size firepower. The Tanker configuration of our famous SOCOM 16 features a vintage walnut stock that pays tribute to those who have carried Springfield Armory® rifles into battle for over 200 years. Chambered in 7.62x51mm, weighs just over 8lbs and 37.25" long. Comes with the Ghost Ring Aperture .135" w/MOA Adjustment for both Windage and Elevation and XS Post w/ Tritium Insert, .125 Blade front sight. Ships with one 10rnd steel magazine.

The operation of the M16 bolt carrier group is managed by a mid-length gas system paired with a heavy tungsten buffer, resulting in an exceptionally smooth action. A good shot starts with the trigger, so that's why the SAINT AR-15 features micro-polished and Nickel Boron treated components. While it offers the right pull weight for defensive use, you won't feel it. Ships with one 30rnd magazine.
