Born from lessons learned on the battlefield, the Israel Weapon Industries TAVOR was designed to meet the stringent requirements of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) whom required a rifle that can adapt to an ever-changing environment. Compact, yet still retaining a 18" Barrel, the TAVOR's bullpup design lends itself to improved target acquisition time and instinctive aiming by moving the center of gravity closer to the users body. Recoil is mitigated through a long stroke gas piston system and high strength polymer uni-body. With the exception of a hand-specific locking bolt, the rifle is completely ambidextrous allowing for easy left-hand conversion of the operating handle, ejection port, fire-control safety, sling swivel receptacles and fore-mounted accessory Picatinny rail. Accepts standard AR15 Magazines. Comes with one 30RD magazine. |
