These Mec-Gar magazines are every bit as reliable as the Sig branded ones at a lower cost. I think they may have been OEM suppliers for Sig but not sure. As for TGS I have been dealing with them for 20 years or so and they always deliver. Buy with confidence.

Mags came quickly and fit perfectly. We will be testing them this week, but everything appears to be to factory specs and nice having the extra capacity.

Awesome mags. In my experience, the mec-gar mags are every bit as good, if not better then the original SIG mags. Also, polite and prompt service from top gun supply is always a huge plus. Thanks, god bless you and yours.

15 rounds up from 13 is good and the nickel coating helps the magazine slide into the mag well like butter. All in all a great extra magazine to have on hand. Works perfect in my P229 Elite Talo edition.

Fits perfectly, drops free, and gives you two more rounds than the original mags, and all from the OEM manufacturer of Sig's mags. Go buy some!

This is a no-brainer for the P229; an additional 2 rounds in the space as a factory mag? Done. Keep the same package size for those using the P229 due to its smaller format. And remember, Sig uses Mec-Gar for its factory mags...so win-win-win? :)

The magazines for the Sig P228 has worked flawlessly for over a year and hundreds of rounds through each of them. Somehow I like the nickel finished over the OEM matt black finish. Highly recommend the Mec-Gar magazines.
