It's best to go through a new acquisition, in this case a recently purchased P239 from Law Enforcement use. Although normally well maintained, when unknown service life, it's best to replace critical springs. Since the P239 has been discontinued, and "Parts Kits" no longer available, find what you can, and replace it to insure the reliability of your new weapon. Springs such as the Trigger Bar Spring, need to also count dry firing training, into the "cycles" when considering "round counts", which for the Trigger Bar Spring, replacement suggested at 10,000 round intervals
