Product reviews: Grayguns HK P30, P2000 Short Reset System

My trigger is A LOT better since I installed this short reset in my P30. It’s both lighter and smoother on the initial pull, and the break is lighter and cleaner, with less over-travel. The reset is also significantly shorter, probably by half. I finally cannot complain about this trigger in any way at all. Mine is an LEM, and it now works exactly like I always thought it should. I highly recommend this purchase, though the installation was difficult in comparison with others I’ve done in the past. So be aware of that too.

Tremendously helped the non LEM trigger. Reset is reduced by approximately 60%. Lighter trigger pull as well. Too much money for what you get but it does work very well. Pay attention to how you install it and don’t forget to replace the OEM pin with the one provided in the kit. Easy to install if you have some mechanical aptitude. TSG was, as usual, quick to ship.

The Gray Guns parts kit functioned very well, rendering approximate reductions in reset of 2/3 and DA pull weight of 16-20 ozs. (measured with a Lyman pull gauge).

To clarify, the GG extended sear roll pin must be used instead of the existing HK sear roll pin. Using a 1/16" roll pin punch, drive out your current HK sear roll pin and replace it with the GG extended sear roll pin.

Trigger action can be further enhanced (smoother) by carefully polishing the sear, trigger bar, hammer strut, hammer (base and interior), catch, and disconnector. Use the GG control latch as-is (don't polish). Installing a nickel-plated flat sear spring is also helpful.

Works exactly as intended and drastically reduces the trigger reset. As far as installation goes there’s a YouTube video on it and it’s pretty straight forward. Highly recommended

Awesome drop on trigger kit. Does what it claims to do. Easy to install if you know your way around an HK. Really cool that Top Gun Supply stocks these. Would have had to wait for months to buy direct from Grayguns.
