Wilson Combat Thumb Safety for 1911 pistols, finished in blue. Pistols that are used for concealed carry and tactical use must have a narrow profile thumb safety to keep them from being accidentally disengaged and snagging on clothing when drawn. Yet once out of the holster they must be quickly manipulated without failure. Our Tactical Thumb Safeties are made just for that purpose. The extended lever is serrated to provide ample control under stress conditions without the interference that is inherent with a wide safety. This is without a doubt one of the finest concealed combat safeties. Minor fitting required.

The Wilson Combat 1911 "drop-in" barrel is exactly the same as the #33G match barrel, with the critical lock-up contact areas cut to a dimension that provides a good lock-up in most Colt and Springfield pistols*. Due to variations in pistol dimensions, installation in some pistols may require very minor material removal which most people can easily do themselves. Includes: Barrel and Bushing.

Wilson Combat's EDC X9 is an everyday carry, 1911 with match-grade accuracy, superior ergonomics, and concealability with modern service pistol capacity and reliability. It is a hybrid of Wilson's EDC 9 1911 slide assembly with a high-capacity X-frame. The slide assembly features ERS "Enhanced Reliability System". The ERS is tailored to the varying power level of 9mm ammunition and maintains impressive reliability in all conditions. Other features include a Tri-Top slide profile with user-replaceable front sight, rear tactical adjustable battlesight, single lug tapered cone match-grade barrel, and a rugged, user-serviceable external extractor. The screwless, X-frame is machined from T6-7075 aluminum and accepts a high capacity magazine with a grip that is smaller in circumference than a standard 1911 while retaining traditional 1911 controls. It uses hammer spring tension to keep the aggressive traction Wilson/VZ G-10 starburst pattern grips securely in place. The X-frame also features a small backstrap and medium trigger pad. The front and back strap are machined with the Wilson Combat X-Tac tread pattern which provides a tactile but nonabrasive grip. Both Frame and Slide are finished in Gray Armor-Tuff. Included are two 15-round magazines.

The Wilson Combat High Ride Beavertail Grip Safety will improve the comfort and controllability of your 1911 Auto. This is accomplished by allowing the shooting hand to be positioned closer to the plane of the bore while spreading the recoil over a broad rounded surface. The bottom of the High Ride Safety features our raised Posi-Release tab which assures positive grip safety disengagement while serving as a grip memory point each time you draw your pistol. The top of the High Ride Safety has a hammer pocket which makes the pistol more snag-free by allowing a commander or bobbed spur hammer to sit down in the beavertail when cocked. Frame modification required. Installation of a Wilson High Ride (#298) beavertail requires cutting the frame to fit the beavertail. Our beavertail fitting jig mounts to the hammer and thumb safety pin holes to serve as a filing guide to help prevent over cutting of the frame. Once this cut is made, only a few thousandths remain for final fitting to a perfect match. Complete instructions included on the use of the fitting jig and how to properly install a Wilson's beavertail grip safety.

The Skeletonized Ultralight Hammer from Wilson Combat is fully CNC machined from solid S-7 tool steel bar stock and heat treated to R/C 48-52 to produce the finest 1911 hammer on the market. This hammer features a skeletonized spur for minimum weight and fastest possible lock time, hammer hooks cut to .020" with 8 RMS ground finish and narrow half-cock notch to prevent sear nose damage. Combine with our Ultralight Trigger (#WC190) and Deluxe A-2 Sear (#WC314) for the ultimate trigger job. Minor fitting required.
